About Grocery Outlet

Discount grocery store offering a full-service meat department, fresh produce, beer & wine, and everyday savings on quality groceries.

Located at 15 Brent Ln, Pensacola, FL 32503, Grocery Outlet operates as a chinese supermarket serving Pensacola in Florida. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Asian grocery stores and supermarkets stock ingredients, snacks and household goods that general American supermarkets often do not carry, organized by category rather than by country of origin in most stores. Produce and live or fresh seafood sections are usually at the back or side of the store, and weekend mornings bring the largest crowds and freshest restock. Many larger Asian supermarkets include a hot deli or food court counter selling prepared meals by the pound or as fixed plates, useful for a quick lunch while shopping. Labels are frequently bilingual or untranslated, so store staff can usually help locate a specific ingredient if you ask. Cash, cards and mobile pay are all commonly accepted at larger chains; smaller specialty shops may be cash-preferred.

Hours are published for 2 days a week. Typical hours are 7 AM–8 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (850) 912-8158. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is groceryoutlet.us, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

With 4.1 out of 5 on Google from 871 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for chinese supermarkets in Pensacola. Recent reviews are the best guide.

Pensacola is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Pensacola is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I went into this store to buy bacon. Yellowstone brand to be exact. 24oz. When I got it home, and opened it, it stunk and was visibly super slimy. My wife took it back with the receipt, and they told her that there was nothing wrong with the bacon, although you could clearly see that it was. They agreed to swap it out for her. When she got it home, it was the same. This time, I took it back. The butcher in meat dept,, and store manager told me that there was nothing wrong with it.I asked if they would at least let me swap it with another brand. I'd pay the difference if need be. They kept insisting there was nothing wrong with it, so ultimately I threw it away and bought a different brand. (Wrights bacon) after the purchase, I stood at the cash register, and opened it to check it. It smelled great. Like good smokey bacon. So I went on my way, but the customer service was terrible. I hope no one gets sick eating this product from this store.

Meat prices are normally much cheaper than Walmart, but not so much right now. Blue Bell ice cream is almost always 5.99 which is several dollars cheaper than Walmart. I only get Blue Bell from Grocery Outlet! Always great deals on soda and Body Armour drinks are always on sale for great prices. Fruit is way cheaper here too!!! Pink ladies & Honeycrisp Apples are super inexpensive!! At least half the price as others. Someone said there's a 10% charge for using cards and this is FALSE. There's a 10% surcharge for anyone who shops there. That's bc they don't upsell you, you pay 10% so they can make money bc they aren't making it by charging you more on each product. And alot of times they have super deals on a variety of things, like it might be a huge pack of hot dogs, sausages, or something like that and it'll be 1 buck or 2 to 3!!! You can find huge savings here! And the 10% isn't much compared to the savings you get. Just make sure you factor in the 10% charge and if the item is cheaper elsewhere then don't buy it there, wait to go elsewhere where it's cheaper. I will say that the one thing I hate is the long lines. And sometimes it's a big wait just to check out. Oh CIGARETTES A

Some mixed feelings about this Grocery Outlet. The store itself is pretty nice. It had way more items available from it, you can basically use it for all of your grocery needs. I went exclusively to Grocery Outlet for at least a month for all of my groceries. However, I stopped going for a few reasons. The biggest is that I noticed that items were WAY more overpriced in comparison to Walmart, which was my biggest reason for even going. A medium box of cereal is $5 at GO, and a mega is $3 at Walmart. Produce is way expensive too, with $6 for some romaine lettuce, and $2-3 at Walmart for even bigger ones. And I wasn't really able to buy fruit at GO because of how expensive it was. So that was my biggest reason. However, if Walmart is a little bit away and you're just trying to pick something up quickly, I can understand. The other reason is because of the people... Generally it's pretty good, and the staff is pretty nice. However, what pushed me off the edge was waiting for 15 minutes with the cashier literally scanning less than 5 products (and yes, I was actually checking the time). After about 20 minutes of waiting with the grocery belt moving less than a foot, I put my items b

Look.....it ain't Publix...it ain't Winn Dixie...and their prices reflect it! Great prices on name brand AND generic items! Large selection of everything you would need from a grocery store! Best neighborhood? No! Cleanest store ever? No! This is a smaller grocery store, in an okay neighborhood, that is pretty darn clean and organized....with great prices on MOST items....plain and simple.....my experience was positive!
